For the first few days and weeks of school, Kindergarten is like herding cats. Except the cats are drunk and they can talk and cry and scream and they never stop. And the cats refuse to keep their shoes or clothing on and lick the floor while staring directly into your eyes.
I had forgotten how excruciatingly hard it is to break in a new class. Heaven give me strength.
I’m pleasantly surprised to realize that a tumblr on my dashboard is of a teacher. yesss. Esp Kindergarten!!!! I teach art k-6 and i love the k’s. even the first week when they are still pretty much beebees!
