Way to go Nike, this is pretty cool!

Thanks Corey for the info.
I love Metallica
and I love the song So What.
I do not love the lyrics… They are the definition of too much information.
Good Grief.
- Crabs, Lice, the Clap, sex with animals, you name it and its in the song.
Someday I want to get my MFA or MAT
but if I am going to go back to school I don’t want to half-ass it.
I want to get into a top-notch program like RISD, Yale, or another excellent school with a fabulous art program.
This will take a lot of work and I can do it.

I wish I had taken a picture.
I know I’ve over-posted about the Jay Z concert but it really was that good.
Anyway, before going in to find our seats, we were in the entry way to the Assembly Hall and I noticed a kick-ass outfit that I did not expect to see.
It included:
- tall black leather flat-heeled boots
- black leggings
- a very nicely tailored, slimming black blazer
- a kick ass Pantera shirt
The leggings and blazer are pretty trendy and popular but when was the last time you saw a girl wearing them with a Pantera shirt? I was very impressed and slightly jealous.
So... buying the new Super Mario Wii game has RUINED my weekend.
I’m getting nothing, NOTHING, done but saving these little mushroom guys.
Dude.
I might need an intervention.
Remember when I liked to get all gussied up on a Saturday night and have a cocktail…
yeah, me neither.
Sounds like my kind of night.

A few of my 1st and 2nd grade students let out groans when I mentioned the phrase “hand turkey” but as soon as they saw my crazy rainbow example they were excited to get started. We briefly talked about color and pattern before they let loose on their drawings- I passed out glitter crayons, always popular!
This delightful composition was created by a 2nd grader.
I apologize for the poor quality- I snap the pictures on my phone during school, no room to carry my camera around.
